If you’re always running out of time for the meaningful projects in your life, this is the practice for you!
Magnificent One!
Every new year, I write down my big dreams and goals for the year ahead, and a few years ago, I started to notice that the same ones kept appearing year after year.
I realized I was so busy drowning in the day-to-day tasks and putting out fires in my work and life, that I was always running out of time for my bigger, more meaningful goals. Growth in my business and activism was frustratingly stalled.
That is until I started to use tools to get a whole lot more deliberate about how I use my time and energy. And one of those tools is the idea of create before you consume.
This practice has helped me break out of the busy-work trap I was caught in and to reclaim creativity and strategy in my work as a changemaker. Since then, I’ve seen some tremendous growth in the projects that are most fulfilling to me.
In this video, I explain the concept of create before you consume and give you some tips around putting it into action.
BEFORE you fall down the rabbit holes of your email, to do lists, and Facebook today (any further at least 😉 ), give this a watch… Your dreams deserve it.
