Dear Ones… Sorry it’s taken me a few days to reach out since we started entering Upside-Down World.
What can I say? Like you, I’ve spent the last week stumbling through this unprecedented time globally…
I too have had trouble concentrating, have gone down way too many pandemic projection rabbit holes, and haven’t known whether to buckle down and find new inventive ways of being of service or throw my hands up and make myself a lunch-time martini.
Some folks will treat this lockdown as an opportunity for some much-needed downtime (which I think, for the first bit while you’re trying to process everything, is probably a good idea).
Some of you will be concentrating on finding solutions to more logistical worries like childcare, pivoting your business, and making ends meet.
For my changemakers out there, you might also be feeling the pull to make a positive difference in this challenging time.
Regardless of where you’re at, anxiety will take you DOWN. You won’t be able to do any of the above in an effective way if you’re in a place of panic, distraction, or feeling alone in this.
So, I recorded a meditation to help you release some of that stress and tension, ground you in the middle of this storm, and help you feel connected even while self-isolating.
Since minds are feeling quite agitated and distracted right now, I tried to make this meditation quite body-centered and active to help keep you engaged.
I implore you to step away from social media/the kids/your desk/Netflix and invest 20 minutes into your precious mental/spiritual health…
I also would love for you to join me for TUESDAY at 1pm ET on my Facebook Coaching Page where I’ll be showing up live via video to do some coaching on ways to navigate this new reality together (I say Thurs. in the vid, but I decided I need to move it up sooner).
We’ll explore further tools for dealing with the stress and anxieties of this constantly shifting landscape, ways to be of service, dealing with the new work and activism circumstances you might be facing, and guidance for using your isolation time in the best way possible for you.
If you have a particular question or topic you’d like me to address on that Facebook Live, feel free to hit reply and let me know!
Sending you so much LOVE.
Hugs, Kimberly
